How to Change that Voice in Your Head
How did we get the negative voice in our head and where did it come from? For some of us, childhood wasn’t fun. We had to overcome hardships early on, traumatic events that may have programmed our brains to the negative channel. We were left with the constant feeling of impending doom. In this keynote by Dr. Robert Woods, educator and ultra endurance athlete, he will dive into how his early experiences of trauma and abuse programmed his brain to the negative channel. Robert will discuss how challenging it was to survive with the constant shadow of the negative voice, which he named, The Lunatic. He will explain how forgiveness and the encouragement of a close friend changed the direction of his life. And that encouragement and love are the antidotes for negativity.
From three hundred pounds to one hundred and ninety, Dr. Woods will capture his audience by giving a detailed account of changing mindset from loser to winner. They will discover the remedy for overcoming negative mental chatter that may be holding them back from achieving their goals and dreams.
